Who can attend?
Folk high schools are for everyone over the age of seventeen and a half. Folk high schools make no demands in regard to previous education or occupation. The only thing needed is interest, openness, enthusiasm and knowledge of the Danish or English language.
Participants pay for their stay, and there are extra expenses for study trips, application fee etc. Fees vary from one school to another.
Scholarship
Folk High Schools are subsidised by the Danish government. If you come from one of the new EU-countries, the Folk High School you are going to attend may apply for a grant from the Danish government.
The Danish Agency for International Education
