About...
Vallekilde Communications College — in Danish known as Vallekilde Højskole — is an old school founded in 1865 in the Danish tradition of popular colleges (folkehøjskoler). Since 2003 the school has specialized in communication.
All the line classes offer a broad introduction to different aspects of communication. Beside the line classes the school offers a number of secondary subjects of both creative and theoretic character as i.e. Danish Language & Culture, Visual Communication, Ceramics, Band, Film Production and Rhetorics.
The teachers are experienced and experts in each their field. They use their personal network to create challenging projects. A stay at Vallekilde is therefore also an encounter with interesting guest teachers.
You will not become an expert nor achieve a degree in any of the subjects by studying at Vallekilde. But you might gain a better picture of yourself and your skills and maybe get a little closer to figuring out what to do with your life - while having fun at the same time.
